When I first came to see Mary nearly two years ago, I was exhausted from several serious bouts of pneumonia which had become normal for my recent Winters.  I had been on Nexium for reflux for many decades and was on cholesterol-lowering medication too.  My doctor was also concerned about several polyps found in my colon.  I felt old and wondered how long I could go on like this.

Mary put me on a diet to get rid of reflux and I was soon off my medication with my Dr’s blessing.  I’ve never looked back.  Now my cholesterol is normal, I had one bout of very mild pneumonia last Winter which lasted a couple of weeks (compared with twelve weeks of severe pneumonia the previous year) and I feel better than I have done for many many years.   All the colon polyps have also disappeared, according to my recent colonoscopy and I’m finally losing weight.

Update: A recent bone scan showed my bones have the density of a woman in her 30’s – even though I am in my 80s – that’s what healthy eating has done for me – the right fuel has restored all my body bit by bit.
